Nice game! Also, good job adding gamepad support, I know that's hard to do (at least for me).
Thanks! For gamepad support I use the new Input System of Unity. I don't know which version of Unity you are using (personally I use the 2019). You can watch this resource Unity Input System and this video NEW INPUT SYSTEM in Unity by Brackeys (you are many resources in internet too). It can help you to understand and set up this system :)

Thanks! For gamepad support I used the new Input system manager on Unity. In my opinion it's simpler and easier to set up this type of system than the old one.
