I liked the consept, and I could pick things up and throw them which was kind of fun. It was also a lot of fun to run through all the items and find out how many I could make roll and fly off just from running.  But controlling the character was more frustrating than it needed to be. It had weird controls that made turning and walking seperate and I found that frustrating. I'd also suggest adding a lose condition if you walk off the plate, . If you were to develope this you might add an animation to the pick up, when you pick up an item the character just has his arms down at his side with the item stuck to his chest.

Thank you. I want the pickup animation, but that was against the rules, so I decided I'll do everything else when the jam will be finished.

Its quite interesting. Liked how you showed name of nearby object.

As the other people are saying, I would rather the controls be relative to the camera. Cool game though!

Seconding the other comment that swapping controls to be relative to the camera could help gameplay. I definitely ran off the side a number of times trying to determine if I needed w or s to move forward. The way the player changes in a cursed state is awesome.

Lol weird little game, but cool. I'd have made the controls camera relative, vs player relative.

Thank you for trying it out, David. Hm... Yeah, I guess it would be easier to control, maybe I'll redo it or add it as another controls mode sometime later.
