Very nice relaxing puzzle game :)

Very cute! The gameplay was fluid and intuitive. Nice job :)

Incredible job.

Great simple puzzle game. Excellent use of juice when the player dies. I was so focused that it startled me. It could be neat to experiment with dynamic lighting.

Thanks so much for playing and for the feedback! I'm sure Momo will understand, he's a patient task master (Cat tax available here)

Absolutely! I look forward to playing again with your updates :)

Your opening animation sequence was great!

Awesome! Love the aesthetic you achieved.

BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!

(thank you for playing! <3 )

Thank you so much for playing and for your feedback! We added sound effects and music yesterday and I cannot wait to share that update.  Your comment about reading the tips is one of our most common pieces of feedback, so  adjusting that is on the agenda.  We're discussing the idea of adding an ingredients book or some other static element so that information is readily available. I'd love to hear your thoughts on that possible addition, or if you have other suggestions that would make that element more user friendly. Thank you again!

hahaha I'm glad you liked the text! That's def one of my favorite lines from the game lol

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! We added sound yesterday and I can't wait to share once we can add updates :)   Excellent suggestion to ramp up the clicks required when performing a ritual.  We're planning to keep developing for funsies so the feedback is very appreciated!

Fun and straightforward game play! A visual indicator (maybe player flashes?) when you lose life would be a nice bit of polish.  Not sure if it's a bug, however I did notice that movement speed increases when you move diagonally. Depending on how you coded it, you can try normalizing the vector to produce a consistent speed. Great job!

Hi Will, thank you for playing and for the feedback! I agree, the tool tips would benefit from a faster response time and/or clearer hints.  Dev jp00p is into punishing games while I am not, so it's a tricky  thing to try to balance.  We're planning to continue dev for funsies (We added sound yesterday!)  so your feedback is very very appreciated.

Brainstorming but -- maybe a static inventory  to the far left with all the items + descriptions noted, so you can review them at a glance?   I'd love your thoughts on that. Thanks again!

Clever level design!

It was fun to be showered in pizzas :D

Absolutely! Thanks for making it, it's a really neat take on this genre.  The only thing I'd like to see differently is a mouseover popup for the house/tree/plot so you can see it's current stats.  I made the mistake of playing fullscreen on a 5k monitor so it was very hard to read the status text in the upper left corner, but that's a pebkac error *doh*

I did find it but haven't been able to solve it (yet). The shake gives me a bit of a headache after the 3rd wrong choice so I'm taking breaks lol

At what rate did you increase the shake? It felt  linear, so perhaps an exponential increase would allow more playable time before the shake got too intense (if that makes sense). Regardless, really great game. I keep coming back to try to figure it out!

Good luck!

I really appreciate the slow unveiling of Something Being Very Wrong. Would be neat to explore after further dev!

Great job! Punishing and devious. Addictive just-one-more-try play. The only suggestion I have is adding a sound effect for when you restart a level. Overall, incredible work! ETA: I forgot to mention, the sound design is great too!

Shucks, I'm also unable to get it to work in browser. I'm using Chrome v84.0.4147.135 on Windows 10, if it's helpful.

Neat game. I failed to get to the end state, but did enjoy frantically running around while the screen shake got worse and worse.

Neat game! The colors and grainy shading set a great atmosphere.

Wow, this is great! The gameplay is addictive which makes it fun to figure out and try to master. The only thing I'd like to see is progressive difficulty.  Overall though, a unique and fun game. Great job!

Seconding the other comment that swapping controls to be relative to the camera could help gameplay. I definitely ran off the side a number of times trying to determine if I needed w or s to move forward. The way the player changes in a cursed state is awesome.

Took me a bit to get the hang of it, but what fun! Definitely worth a play through or three :)

Nifty gameplay! Some kind of juice to indicate when you succeed in unlocking the next step could make gameplay more intuitive.

Took me a bit to figure out game play, however once I did I enjoyed myself. Neat concept!

Fun and fluid game play. Love the use of changing art styles.

Addicting game play!

Awesome! Love the use of Sisyphus in a game. The game play itself is quick and engaging, and I found myself wanting to play Just One More Round.
