Nice and relaxing game. Loved the concept. I hope you continue this. Would love to play it again. You did nice job.
This is a lot of fun! I liked the basic concept and mechanic, and it runs very nicely for a two-day jam!
I think you made great choices within the constraints of the jam. Like the other commentators, there are a few things I'd like to see (music, a "catch" animation) but 48 hrs makes it tough to fit all that in.
Really well done!
Thanks for the comment! I even wanted to have real customers coming in and placing orders for different fish. It all sounded good, but I definitely need to learn what is feasible in 2 days.
Games like these give me nostalgia as I remember playing the original Link's Awakening on the GameBoy and just spending a long time in the fishing mini-game. Really wish you had added at least some music to really sell it. I guess I was also expecting to be able to move the line with my arrows/wasd keys to "entice" the fish and see the hook go all the way down to where the fish are rather than just waiting but still, I like concepts like these.
Great game concept, and it plays really well. I would have liked some audio, and it would be great if the fish flew out of the water with the fishing rod, but otherwise, good job!
Thanks for your comment! I'd wanted to have both (and also the fishing line), but I just ran out of time.
nice job, i like the mecanic
