Great aesthetic and a really clever game mechanic. The controls are quite finnicky, a combination of sliding too much and what I'd guess is a rounded collision box on the heads. However, its fun to play, and simply an amazing game, so well done!

Nice game, though quite difficult. The large ghosts and player hitbox make it very easy to die, and it takes a while to restart, meaning people are less likely to want to continue playing. That said, the graphics are good and the music choice is great, plus its fun to play, so well done!

A nice prototype. Its currently a little short, but I can easily see it becoming a game that starts as a clicker game and iteratively evolves into another game, like maybe  a shooter. As it is though, good work!

Nice retro game concept! I can see from the submission time that you made this in just over a day, which is impressive. It would be great if there were some unique elements to it, perhaps something to tie it to the theme (e.g. unlock a new ability when you die). It would also be nice if there was a game over screen when you lose all your lives, which can add replayability. Overall, its a good prototype, so well done!

A nice imagining of the theme and really well executed. Took a while to realise how to play, a few more lines in the description explaining the game would have helped. Other than that, well done!

A great little game using a interesting backend, which makes it all the more impressive. Shame it doesn't fit the theme, but otherwise great work!

The wave nature of this makes it really fun and addictive to play. The graphics are simple but incredibly effective with the particle effects, screen shake etc. The music is well made too. Good job!

I nice concept and well executed, well done!

A nice imagining of the theme, and nice animations too. Well done!

A fun little platformer and a great first game. With regards to the music, try using an AudioStreamPlayer instead of AudioStreamPlayer2D, as this will make the music non-directional. Otherwise, great work!

Really nice concept. It took me a while to get the hang of the wall jumps, but once I did it was fun to play. I would have liked to see more of a reason to collect the charges, even if its just shown as a statistic (e.g. "You collected 9/10 charges", which would incentivise people to play again), and I'd also like more levels. Other than that, well done!

I could see this working well, but as it is it's just confusing. Its not obvious which responder is for, and additionally they don't seem to take obvious paths to their destination. Its a good idea, it just needs a bit more refining

I couldn't stop playing! The pixel art and music are beautiful and the gameplay is relaxing, a great combination. Amazing work!

Really beautiful and well made. I wish there were more scenarios, and I came across a couple bugs (e.g. negative money), but otherwise incredibly well made.

A really fun and challenging game, well done!

The level design here is amazing, and really made me think

Wow, this is like 3 different games rolled into one, and a great use of the theme. It's well made and fun to play. Unfortunately the browser version wouldn't load for me so I had to download it first, but I'm glad I did. Well done

This is such a beautiful and peaceful game, and the music fits perfectly. Well done!

I definitely wasn't expecting that opening lol. The animations are really smooth and I love the retro aesthetic. The gameplay is good, but can get a little repetitive. I also encountered a bug where my health reached zero and the death animation played, but nothing happened after. Overall, this a great game, well done!

This is great! The gameplay is addictive, the difficulty is well balanced and the sfx are perfect. Well done!

Great concept! It was satisfying and addictive to keep killing these monsters. One thing I'd like to see is an ammo system so you can't fire indefinitely on full auto, which would add an extra layer to the gameplay. Otherwise, well done!

The level of polish on this game is unbelievable! From the paralax stars to the money counter switching format at 10K, I still can't believe you made this in 48 hours. It doesn't matter that theres no definite goal, its addictive just the same. Congrats!

Great game concept, and it plays really well. I would have liked some audio, and it would be great if the fish flew out of the water with the fishing rod, but otherwise, good job!

Glad to see someone else embracing the mushrooms! The concept works really well and animations were smooth for both the mushrooms and character. Overall, this is a great game, well done

I love the animation of the blocks flying into place, along with the smooth camera, since it gives it a really polished feel. Its sad that I can't seem to play it without falling through the floor, but I can see the huge amount of work that went into it regardless. Well done!

Really good use of the 8-bit aesthetic, and its fun to play! It would be nice to have a wider range of plants to place, and the placement is a bit difficult, but otherwise this is great.

Wow, this feels really well made, and its hard to believe it was made in 48 hours! I feel like the growth power could have been integrated into the level design a bit more, as some of the levels didnt need it at all. I also discovered a bug where the sfx would keep playing if the target piece went under the map, I suspect because it became unloaded. Other than that, really well done!

I got 4402, is that a high score? Anyway, its evidently an adictive game, and a great idea for 'growth'. I also love the penalty for popping bubbles too early, as it prevents spamming and makes you think about when to pop each bubble. Aside from the bugs, its really well executed. Congratulations!

This is a really good game concept, and as a result is also fun to play, almost adictive! Its also a really good demonstration of physics, so well done there. If you had more time, I'd have loved to see you embrace the pinball concept even further, with a larger playing field and more obstacles. Other than that, well done!

This was really fun to play, and is a good concept. Sure, its buggy but you did only have 48 hours. Overall, well done!

Incredibly fun to play! The idea may be simple but the gameplay is amazingly well polished with the animations, filters and music. All in all a great game, well done!

Great idea for a game. While it may push the theme a bit, I think its a great effort for your first jam. Well done!

A great idea for a game! While its buggy at times, I think with a little more time and a few more levels this would make for a great game. Otherwise, good work!

Great game, your hard work shows! One small criticism, it would have been nice if the gun model held by the character changed when the weapon changed, but I understand thats a detail you likely didn't have time for. Overall, well done!

A fun, simple platformer that fits the theme nicely. I did discover one bug where jumping in the lava on the choose screen caused you to fall forever, its not a big problem though. Overall, well done!

I love the concept of picking a team based on a random battle setup, but the buggy AI meant that, as long as you got over the weird controls, you were almost guarenteed to win. That said, I enjoyed playing it, so well done!

This was really fun to play, if a little challenging. I loved how the falling shapes became part of the platform and presented other challenges after their immediate danger. Its really well put together, so well done!

An incredibly well designed game, with some good graphics on top. Theres so many different levels each with different features that I can't believe this was made in 72 hours! Well done, this game is going to do well

Its a great concept and fits the theme well. The gameplay has a slight learning curve and it would be nice to have an indicator of which ball is mine. I also couldn't here any music, despite a music credit on your page. Otherwise, this is a good game thats very fun to play. Well done!
