This is SO much fun! Loved the way you matched the story beats with gameplay, and the easter eggs/references are terrific!

This is totally fun! (I mean, who doesn't love ghost puzzles, right??)
I love the overall design and color palette, especially of the backgrounds.
I thought the puzzles were well designed, and the hint system was a thoughtful touch. The puzzles did start to feel a bit repetitive, but the game is short enough that it's not that much of an issue, and the overall feel of the game carried it through.
Nice job!!
I like the concept of a platformer in the clouds, and I love the thumbnail art!
I struggled with the actual platforming, and couldn't get past the first candle. Not sure if that's a layout issue or just my poor platforming skills... :)
I think I may have had an easier time if it were zoomed out a little, so that I could see/navigate a bit easier.
Good job completing the game in the jam window, and great design of the fairy and the villain!!
Super interesting point about the interactivity. We'd originally planned on a point and click game, and the twine was a playtest for the narrative & puzzle logic. When we got closer to the deadline and scaled down on the scope, I wonder of that point and click sensibility was baked into the text.
Thank you for playing!
I love the rust mechanic, and the graphics and soundtrack work really well together.
As other commenters have pointed out, the rust mechanic can create a negative feedback loop, where I simply can't advance further.
I'd love to see a couple tweaks to that mechanism, as well as a sound fx that emphasizes the rust build-up (like rusty grinding gears gaining in volume and adding psychological pressure).
Or maybe something that made the decision of where to quit a strategic choice -- like if on the next run you can use the last robot's body for spare parts?
In any case, that's all nitpicky stuff -- it's a fun game, and nice job putting this together within the time limit!
Very cool -- I love a twine game!!
Nice use of the cat, and I loved the minimalist choice of changing background color to represent the new worlds. I'd generally prefer seeing the text broken up across multiple passages, as that's easier for me to read, and gives more sense of agency to the player (even clicking with no choice feels more active, at least to me.)
Totally fun, and congrats on finishing for the jam!
Terrific job on this! It feels like you made smart decisions on where to invest your time/effort, and it pays off in the final product. The photos and the time jumps could easily have been tough to follow, but the story pulled me right in and I didn't have an issue at all. (I did struggle at first navigating the map, but I got the hang of it by the end.)
Really well done!!
This is fantastic! Everything ran smooth for me (in the browser) and it felt complete and polished. The puzzles are logical, and the hints along the way were just the right amount of nudging (for me at least). I also loved that there were enough changes and queues along the way to give a sense of progress -- things like the color pallet shift reinforced that the objectives were coming closer.
Super impressed that this is a game jam project. Well done!
