Shep's Herd's itch.io pageHow does your game incorporate the theme?
In Shep’s Herd players aim to connect NPCs to their designated portal by creating a path with tiles. There’s also the inherent connection between the living and the dead, represented by how they can switch between each other. Lastly there’s a connection between players, who have to work collaboratively to create and alter the paths.

The fact that you made your own engine and made it multiplayer is awesome. You’ve got my respect!
Thanks! We appreciate that. Our engine is free to use, by the way. Feel free to check it out anytime! We’re doing our best to make it usable for everyone.
I love the concept of guiding humans and ghosts to their respective portals by connecting roads (which also satisfies the connection theme). It is also impressive that you can enable multiplayer for a 48-hour game jam!
Sadly, I experienced heavy lag despite playing around with my computer settings. Also, there is a bug that crashes the game by deleting a tile. A suggestion for improvement is to display a grid as it can help plan out a path more quicker. Nonetheless, great job!
Thanks, appreciated. About the 48hr multiplayer, that’s Formabble’s forte (our main game engine). We’d love to have you join our Discord for more updates and feedback. Regarding the lag, were you playing solo or in duo? We have multiple issues with Emscripten optimizations and the network being slow because it’s bouncing from players (it’s kinda peer-to-peer with a relay in the US). We’re actively working on this!
I was playing solo. It could be the case that my computer isn't built well for the game. I had trouble with my graphic cards at times so don't worry too much about the lag. It could be on my end, and not yours.
The project page is the best I've seen so far, but sadly I cannot run the game as it says "WebGPU not supported."
Thank you very much Dario! Are you using Chrome to play? Formabble only runs on Chrome based browsers. But alternatively you can join our discord to download the native app (Windows, Mac and iPhone/iPad)
OOoohhh so thats why.. I use Firefox, i will check it out with chrome later!
