Zaristo the Perfumer keeps making me think of Elden Ring. Perfumes as a magic system is so fun!

I like the fairy tale atmosphere of this adventure. It feels more gentle than most, which is a nice change of pace.

While I understand the logic of putting the map at the back for quick access, reading the key before seeing the map was a bit disorienting. Perhaps the key could start by noting where to find the map?

Developer

Thank you for the great advice on a map, and i am glad that you liked the atmosphere)

Good job on the layout, I really appreciated the extra formatting for important elements, tables, and monster stats. Core premise is also interesting and could see players having a lot of fun with it!

Developer

Thank you) I'm running a lot of games regularly and from my experience, it is very handy when you can see what you need as soon as possible on the game. I've tried to make it as easy to use on a game as possible.

I loved the perfume based mechanics and interactions, rooms layout is simple and efective. Text pages are a little blocky.

I'm really glad that you liked them) As for the text pages, yeah I need to work on that more in the future, thanks for pointing it out

Well, I don't think I've seen a sorcerer/perfumer before. That's kind of a neat twist on the "loot a dead wizard's mansion" subgenre. I also loved the Jack Vance references.

Developer

Hi, thanks a lot. Really happy that you have an eye for this kind of references)) I opened Dying Earth for myself not so long ago, and the idea of that trap just instantly came to my mind when I was thinking "What would a wizard do?"
