This came out really cool! I also managed to clip into the wall, but a top-down metroid type game was fun to play and the temperature management was nice. I think the challenge would have increased if there were reasons to use one weapon or another in different situations--as it was I only needed to alternate and didn't have to be strategic about it. I never figured out how to fire rockets--this maybe should have been covered in a menu at the start?
The mechanics(I loved how you needed to balance the temp by switching out your weapon choice), art(some of the enemies freaked the heck outta me), and the music were amazing! However, while playing, I managed to get through the walls of the game.
looks amazing dude, i like the art style great concept as well
I really liked the atmosphere of this one! I can definitely see the Metroid inspiration and I think putting some of that in a top-down setting is really new/interesting. Having to manage your temp made it feel very survival horror which I liked. The art and animations were all super good.
I did clip into a wall in one of the key rooms on the bottom right edge, but it kind of made me feel like a speedrunner lol. Just reloaded my save and nbd, but figured I'd let you know.
The game looked AMAZING! I was able to figure out I took damage whenever that warning flashed for temperature, Q switched fire modes, Space fired the rockets, but I couldn't figure out how to pick up the keys. From what I did see it was great!
