As a IRL pinball fan yours was the first jam entry I played, so your game thumbnail did a good job. :)

Had fun playing a few rounds & the multi-flipper design gave the table interest and variety. I'm also happy to report that one-person-per-flipper-side "couch" co-op mode works too! :D

Saw your Twitter posts about the space invader blend animations & the "pixel art"/video game colour/animation style of the invaders & penguins is a cool aesthetic.

I think the number of leading zeroes in the score might be a little optimistic in relation to my skill level but at least I know there's room for improvement in my skill! :D

Thanks for sharing your game!

Great idea and implementation. It really reminds me Space Cadet. The only suggestions I can think of are:

1. Adding sound and music (only now I realize how important sound is in a pinball game)

2. Change launch from enter to space bar

3. The ball feels a little bit 'sticky' on the flipper

Thanks for playing! Space cadet is one of my favorites. Spacebar was my first choice for the launch button but it was making the web page scroll . Also the shift keys werent working great in the webgl build. Hopefully I can fix these bugs for future games. Sound would be great too especially if its interactive.

I really like the idea and it's very well done!  Of course sound effects would have really helped!  I could hear them in my head as I was playing.

From the description seems you were short on time, so I'm sure you would have added sound too if you could.  But one other thing I think could really help is visibility.  Could there be a way to have the camera "lead" the ball to where it's going?  Just by a bit might help.  Is that even possible with a rigid body 2d?  (Assuming that's what you used.)  Not sure.  Sounds like a cool technical challenge - or maybe just a google search.  Ha ha.

Anyway, if you haven't already, please check out my game!  Along with rating it, I'd love to hear your feedback too!  Thanks!

Camera leading is very possible! I did try it but wasnt sure if it made the camera move too much. Another option could be to see the entire table and not have any camera movement. Thanks for playing! Gonna try your game!

This feels like a good start on a fun little pinball game!

Audio could definitely add a lot to what's already here. Scores not resetting after losing a ball/not having a limited number of balls also feels like a small fix that could enhance the experience.

The space invaders are a nice touch, and I like the way the wall bumpers affect what would otherwise be a less interesting surface to wait for the ball to roll down.

In your instructions for setting executable permissions, you should probably note that the relevant setting will be in the properties dialogue of the the user's file browser specifically.

Thanks for playing! This game jam was a big help for me. I will definitely join next year and probably will try to learn Godot before then

Glad to hear you had a positive experience ^_^
