Same as other commenter , loved the concept and the music. The hitboxes does feel weird , I think adding shadow to them would help a little , and maybe try set them all in same z-axis so the main characters won't always stay on top and breaking the 2D illusion!
the idea of having to beat your way through your coworkers just to get home for the day makes me really happy
the art is really cool as well! there were a few bugs in my playthrough, mainly not taking damage from enemies, and it'd be nice if there was support for people without numpads so that they could still play two player. i also agree with what others have said about the pacing, speeding things up would do a lot for the game i think!
I agree with the other commenter that the game feels! The hitboxes on the enemies were a little strange as well and i had to swing a few times before they dissipated (unless they had more than one hp? In which case a hit sound/animation would be nice). They also walk around off-screen where you can't see them if you stand too close to the front of the level.
But it is a cute concept for a beat-em up and the art is nice!
I like the music and the visuals are nice too. The gameplay feels a little bit slow. The wait between the waves is a bit too long. I feel this kind of game should be more fast paced. Also the enemies never did any damage to us. Not sure if this was a bug or if it is intendet that they do less damage.
