Although moving the character felt a bit slow at times, it provides a lot of potential to expand the exploration and experiential aspect of the game. The art was very poignant, and I enjoyed discovering a few sounds too. That could definitely be expanded upon, possibly with small interactions which increased the meaning of the person. Nice job!

Thank you! The plan was to make things more interactable, with more sounds and animations, but we just ran out of time. We plan on expanding it a little, post jam. I've already made the movement much more responsive which I'll update once voting ends!

I think the levels should be swapped in order and go from the last level to the first level, as it seems the last level was the easiest, and shows what to expect next, then there is only 1 way to go in level 2, and finally, 3 is the "small world" where many folks are, and you can navigate in many different directions.

Overall - fun idea and a good submission for this jam!

Hey, thanks! I get where you're coming from, and in a full game the levels would scale like that for sure, but in this I don't consider level 3 much of a level, more just a way to end the game, revealing who the person is. Level two was very rushed, and the person would be hidden better in a full game, or there would be other things to find before they show up, but that one could have been before the city I guess. The city level is really the main level here, and is closer to what other levels would look like in a full game.

Check out my game if you have a minute, nobody has rated it so far. I fixed a bug that was preventing people from playing it :)

My favourite part was the aesthetic of the game. I must admit I was CLOOOOSE to making a “Where’s Waldo?”-like game like this one but I’m glad to see someone came up with the idea and took the opportunity to develop it!

On the other hand, I’d say that the point-and-click movement felt a little bit clunky and unresponsive at times but it compensated for it with its charm and some events that happen when you click on certain objects on the map.

Maybe just finding the character without having to move your own would have resulted in a better-communicated game but then again, this is a jam entry, and for a jam entry this is awesome!

If you can/want to, please take a look at my game and rate it. I’m looking for feedback on it so any opinions or comments that you want to leave over there are greatly appreciated!

Thank you! Yeah the pathfinding is not great, that's for sure. It can take a little bit to find a suitable path and then start it which can definitely make it feel slow and unresponsive. Will clean it up a bit after the jam I think. I'll take a look at yours for sure!
