Cute and hectic game! I included it in my LOWREZJAM compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

The game is quite nice to play, but I think that it would be more fun to have the next food item randomly chosen to add some depth to the gameplay adding planning on top of reflexes.

For the rest, very nice work :-)

The graphism and the animations are pretty well done and the gameplay is fun. Good job.

What a fun and frantic game. Nice job!

Welp, I'm a bit disappointed that this game didn't get much attention yet, maybe I might share it around. We also participated with a Godot submission, the HTML5 export of which took a while to get running, I'm sure if you could get that fixed you'd be able to pick up some well deserved traction.

Got a High Score of 96, on my second game

For arcade this is very easy, that's not necessarily a bad thing at all,  in an ever competitive world a little dumb-fun ought to be welcome every now and then. Besides the easiness here is in part due to the design choices made:

  • A simple food menu of 5 items which you can see at all times no matter how much you scroll.
  • Being able to warp across the screen
  • Starting off at a very slow speed, perfect for a beginner

If I had one complaint to make I'd say that the "fire" option seems to be a bit delayed; that is to say if space is pressed before moving to the side, it will fire on that tile since it takes a while for the animation to finish.

Otherwise pretty cool entry, best of luck
