Did you work in a team?
This was a solo project by me, Blocky.

Was the resolution a challenge?
Having a moving camera locked to such a low resolution results in really nauseating flickering as the camera bounces back and fourth, snapping to the pixels. I ultimately opted to use sub-pixels just for camera and player movement.

What did you learn?
I learned a lot about smooth motion and how that can be difficult under some restrictions. This knowledge will allow me to plan for such things in my future designs before I get to far into development.

The little effect you did for the shine on the floor is great. Simple, but it really sells how polished they are. Great use of sound effects too.

Really fun game, not quite rendered in 64x64 pixels though!

Thank you. :) It uses sub-pixels for physics and camera movement as well as rotating the arrow, otherwise it is 64x64.

This was a lot of fun to play, and you incorperated an optional theme as well. Well done!

Playing through this I was constantly yelling, "NO, NO, GET AWAY FROM ME" ...as if this store had the worst customer service ever. Which also made giggle. Funfactor: 10/10!

I loved the story to the game mechanics.
