I finished it without using the shield. I am really bad with it :) .I really like animations and graphisms.

The graphics are amazing! Great work! Works very well at this res. Could do with more variation in combat and gameplay.

This one hocked me from the first screenshot. To be hones, the gameplay isn't mine, but the first person pixel / pseudo 3d look is really great. 

One thing that would be great, is some kind of visual indicator if you are in hit range. Something like a outline around the enemies. I attacked a few time before I was in range and it is hard to tell if your near enough.

Graphics and animations are top notch!  I was looking forward to playing this based on tweets I had seen.  I was slightly disappointed with the controls, but I think it can easily be fixed by increasing the sword and shield speed by a good amount (twice or three times as fast).
