Did you work in a team?
Just one person, I did all the coding and script writing. It was certainly an interesting experience, but I felt the restrictions (plus the ones I set for myself) were a bit too detrimental to my work
Was the resolution a challenge?
I made my game entirely based on sound, so creating a map where the player can still navigate was a big challenge. I tried to overcome this by creating a number of ambient noise generators so players can recognize sounds and reorient themselves as needed.
What did you learn?
Sound design in games, finding and using high-quality sound effects, and especially the concept of how to position and manipulate the sounds to guide players naturally from one place to another, as well as the ability to play sounds on command. Having a basic sound generator script means I can reuse the code and be able to more easily implement sound effects in my future projects

I've been stewing on an idea like this for years... this is a great proof of concept. Excellent soundscape.; definitely a game to play with headphones.
Idk, it sounds pretty 24-bit to me. Jokes aside, it was a surreal experience! Well done! I love it so much
At some point I wandered back into the repair tent (where the game started) and the repair robot said something like "what seems to be the problem?" and I wasn't able to interact with anything or walk away, so I think I found a bug.
I commented on the actual project page instead of this one (whoops), but I really enjoyed it. (5/5 for the no res :D).
to be honest i wasn't sure what was going on until i like relooked at the cover art for the game. loved it.
I had trouble getting the web version of the game to load completely, but I downloaded it for Windows just to be sure, and I'm glad I did. This game is super creative. I wasn't sure how the execution would feel compared to the concept, but after closing my eyes, I found myself totally engrossed in the experience. It reminds me of the old virtual barbershop experience, only it was interactive. Very cool. I could find a way to interact with things though aside from listening to conversations and things happening around me. Although maybe that was the point. Loved the singing bot. I dunno what else to say. I actually really loved this. Great job.
I also was not able to run neither web nor Windows version.
Yes, I'm currently looking into it. In the meantime, the Windows version works, if you want to download it and check it out
I hear the sound but the window looks like this.
Yup, that's the point!
Aha now i see. Even tho i knew from the description its a sound based game, seeing the screen like this made me think something is still broken.
I can't currently get the game to load completely in my browser (Chrome/Windows).
Thanks for the heads up, I'm look into it!
It does seem to be working now. Really interesting take on the lowrez idea.
