Did you work in a team?
I made the game alone, my wife only fed me.

Was the resolution a challenge?
I love low res! You can draw a handful of pixels and declare it a man with an axe, no one will prove otherwise.

What did you learn?
Making games with Godot is fun. I plan to stay with it for a while longer.

This was a very nice game with a good loop, loved the digging and could see this game being developed further into a good game.

If you get the chance id love it if you could play and rate our game too :)

I wish the digging was a little bit faster but overall I loved this entry. Very Solid gameplay loop.

Thank you! Digging will go faster if you move to the bottom of the pit and change direction more often.

I got all the items, and was like...9000 currency to go?  Then I got the real ending...and it crashed.

The fact that I played the whole thing a second time to see the ending should tell you my opinion of this game.

I offer my deepest apologies! HTML version sometimes freezes for some reason and I discovered this on the last night of the jam. I will definitely fix it later and thank you so much for the feedback!

No way, that...secret animation looked really complicated for a gamejam game.  Very cool!

The digging is really satisfying, however the combat hit boxes feel strange. A lot of times I'd just stand on a zombie and try to jump away so I could hit him. I also found the birds to be very hard to deal with since I wasn't sure how to line up my attacks. I didn't realize wood wasn't worth filling up my backpack with as soon as I got the shovel for a bit so I spent a decent amount of time just getting wood instead of gems and wondering how I was supposed to afford anything. Also, it's not clear which gems are worth more without looking at your screenshot. Overall, nice job! I'm not sure why I'm a strange bearded man with an axe in a spaceship but hey.

I admit, the game is a bit complicated for jam entry with all these resources, so I tried to shorten and simplify it as much as I could, but, as you can see, I did not succeed in this. And yes, I agree that hitboxes are far from perfect. Thank you so much for such a great review with constructive criticism!
