Trip to Singapore and Some Questions

Hi. If I win among top three, is it plausible if I don't want to go to Singapore?

Will there be grand priz, first prize, runner up, second runner up, and fifth to tenth placer, consolation prize? Or will there be only three prize winners in this jam?

I know we can only make the game once we've been given the theme to work on. But will it be okay if I preemptively make the graphics, code and/or songs for the game before the theme reveal?

Do I own the copyright to my IP?

Is there job vacancy in your company? XD

Is it permittable to make a fangame that combines multiple video games, anime and movie IP/franchise together?

Thank you for reading

Hi Krizzirk!

1. In the event you are among the Top 3 teams but are unable to make it to Singapore, it will be deemed as a forfeiture of flights and accommodations. Please refer to the "Finalists" section on our itch page.

2. The prize pool will be distributed to only the Top 3 teams in the jam.

3. We encourage you to build the majority of your game during the jam period, but you may do whatever preparations you feel you need to do for the jam.

4. Developers/contestants retain full rights to the IP of the game they developed in the Lv. 99 Game Jam (“Developed Game”) and rights to self-publish it as a developer. Please refer to the "IP & Rights" section on our itch page.

5. Yes, there are in fact! You can check out open positions here https://project99.gg/careers/

6. Your game should not infringe any IP laws. Note that Itch.io can and will remove content based on DMCA laws.

Thank you!!
