How does your game fit the Magical Girl genre?
Maju is a magical girl with ocean-related powers. She has a magical fishing rod, which she built herself with the help of a mysterious stone she got from the ocean. The rod helps her to separate the trash from the clean water, and once her powers are charged up, she can finish her job cleaning all the area at once.

Which theme(s) do you pick?
1, 2 e 4

How does your game fit those theme(s)?
1. The game is about encouraging people to change the world instead of sitting around waiting for some miracle to happen. Even if our individual actions may be small, when we all work together, we can make a difference. 2. The gameplay revolves around identifying which blocks are to be combined in order to charge up the character's powers, and which are to be separated, so as to not clog the screen. 4. The visual themes of the game are all related to water in some way. Whether it is Maju’s powers, or the aesthetic of the game, all revolves around this underwater appeal. Another aspect to be considered is the fact that as a block puzzle game, the player is constantly under pressure to put the blocks in the correct place, with the game increasing in difficulty as the screen starts to get full.

Lovely artwork in this game! The character and story art is really good, and the music worked nicely as well.

For the gameplay, a tutorial or something like that would have helped me better understand what was going on. I've played my share of falling-block puzzle games, but I wasn't sure exactly what I was supposed to be doing. I managed to play for a while despite that, though I never quite got the hang of it.

Still, there's a lot of potential here and I think it's good work. Nice job!

I love the art and presentation. The key art drew me in, and the little manga-esque storyline at the beginning was great. The in-game art and music give it wonderfully calm and melancholic atmosphere.

It does bother me more than it should that Maju has gloves in some of the art but not others. Did the character design change slightly during development? I think this is an example, though, of a case where the minor issues only stand out because it's generally very well done.

I was really excited to play this game- a tetris- esque puzzle game in a sea of shmups- but unfortunately I couldn't get a hang of the mechanics. I'm not sure if there's something I'm missing or if I just ran into some bugs. Some colours of blocks disappeared when I stacked a few, but others didn't even when I stacked them even to the top. Sometimes they'd disappear anyway, maybe when I stacked the same colour beside them, but it didn't seem to be consistent. When I hit the top, the game didn't end, but new blocks started stacking into the middle of existing stacks. I thought part of the game was cut off at the bottom and there was stuff going on down there, but from the official screenshots it looks like that's not the case.

The artwork is pretty! Music fits fine. I loved the theme, gotta clean that ocean. Loved the comic-style presentation.

I managed to figure out most of how the game works. The spacebar power did not work for me. Still, I played this one until I reached the score I printed. Then I left it to gameover. I wish there were a bit more to do. Fun game!

I liked the thoughtfulness with the backstory to the puzzle game and why the artwork is what it is. The music was very fitting for the gameplay, too, and very soothing and enjoyable.

I was unclear what I was supposed to do. Make lines with the same colors? Make larger squares? I was also unclear what the powers were. I learned white destroys, pink and aqua also destroyed when stacked with their own. I also found that I could slide squares into other squares at times, regardless of color. I wasn't sure if that was a bug, or some property of the way I arranged the colors. Some starting gameplay guidelines would be useful. If the player is to learn as they go, maybe having text pop up as they achieve special things would be helpful as well.

It's clear a lot of great work went into this. Nice job!

I like the artwork and music, it's so relaxing. However, I don't actually get how to play the game. I only know the white blocks destroy another block and gain me 1000 score

Hey there, just tested the game out. Loved the artwork and the story (I actually read through the text without skipping! XD) Couple of feedback - It would have been much more helpful if there were a bit of explantion of the blocks properties. I had no idea what to do at the beginning, and was difficult to figure out what each color blocks do. Overall a job well done, and I had fun playing it!
