How does your game fit the Magical Girl genre?
Opame is a magical girl who can summon copies of herself from different universes to assist her.

Which theme(s) do you pick?
1,2,4

How does your game fit those theme(s)?
Opame's power creates a Legion consisting of herself. In the game's story she identifies which of her copies still are her friends and which are rebelling against her. They are rebelling because of the pressure they face to constantly serve the Greater Good rather than their own desires.

I envision this game more as an educational one. It is simple and straightforward. Loved the idea I just wished it was a little more flourished. Keep up the good work!

I like the core concept here. Based on the game story, I envision each number next to a character drawing that matches the enemy. As you click the weaker one, they transform into the copy of yourself. That will help unify the zones, too, once they change to your color as you progress. Since this is set up as a sort of puzzle, what could help make this more challenging is making multiple answers a right answer, so the player has to look ahead to plan more. If you didn't want to make it number based, you could come up with a sort of rock-paper-scissor system of winning, but use elements (e.g. fire beats earth and air) or something like that.

There are definitely lots of possibilities depending on the direction you want to go. Then you can add some really nice audio and flesh the rest out. Good luck!

This feels almost like an educational game. Am I being tricked into <gasp> learning?

It's pretty barebones and could really use some additions to spice things up. Maybe a time limit, moving bubbles, or something else to make the gameplay more varied and intense. More graphics and more colour, perhaps, and some effects when you pick the right (or wrong!) bubbles. Finally, there's no audio at all, and some sound effects and pulse-pounding music (or chill lofi beats for a different feel) would make it pop.

The backstory and concept are interesting, but none of it really comes through in the game itself, which is a shame.

I like the concept of a magical girl building an army of her own clones, only to have them rebel against her!

As a game, it's pretty simple and straightforward. That said, I could imagine this working as a mobile app game. It reminds of the "HeroWars" ads I always seem to get, and in the comments there's always people wishing the game was like what the ad showed. I think with a little more development this could work well, and fill a demand for that audience! As it is now, it's a solid prototype.

I was definitely attempting to clone that "mobile ad" gameplay, even had a model for it from YYWTGRSHYGNLSYCT. Thanks for playing!
