This was really fun! Definitely could be made into an addictive phone game. Really nice work! :)

This game reminds me of mini jam 84!The limitation in that jam was that the player is tied up with the amo.Anyway the concept was pretty unique!

I actually like how you were creative with the health mechanic, it makes the game stand out for sure! It feels really polished and smooth to play which is great!

I feel like mechanically this concept has a lot of potential and I realize if you had more time you would probably expand on it and add more levels. The other thing I felt like I'd say is that because of the simple and effective controls this would probably be a good project to port over to a mobile app if you continue to work on it after the jam!

Great concept and game! Game On!

Thank you so much ! I'm glad you liked it, and we had similar ideas to port it to a mobile game !

I also noticed while looking at some of the other comments that you mentioned you like bullet-hell games! You should totally check mine out, it's bullet hell genre - arcade style! Would appreciate any feedback on it!  :)

Thanks for playing our game! :) Porting to mobile is something we are actually considering. We just aren't sure how we want to handle the touch controls of shooting and grappling.

One possible way would be to have the player enter one of two states (grapple or shoot) using a button or something and then everything else can bind to touch controls! Just a suggestion though. That's how I'd probably do it.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the suggestion! I like the idea of toggling controls with a button. Originally we wanted to implement a drag and shoot mechanic, kind of like pool or angry birds. But the point and click just felt right and simple.

Okay that's a really cute/simple mechanic that is fun and unique. Punishment for dying seemed a bit harsh, but other than that, wonderful job!

Developer(+1)

Its not a bug, its a feature :)

I think my favorite part is that your health is used for everything, and that forces you to think about how you want to grapple and shoot. Good work!

Glorb is a slime ball, and he has to use his slime (flesh) to grapple between asteroids. That's where the idea came from :) Thanks for playing !!

ooh nice game! I enjoyed this one quite a lot, going through levels and finding new commands to input, it was definitely quite an easy game, but was a fun implementation of the cheat! quite polished and nice sounds too, good job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing our game! If we had more time we would have loved to implement more levels and puzzles

Your game was awesome !! Gave me quite the laugh, plus I love the bullet hell genre !

We wanted to create something similar, but could not because of a lack of technical knowledge. Nice to see the concept created in a nice way!

Is it just me or the hook is limited by the amount of your health? Seems like you didn't stop on just one mechanic, did you? That's nice!

Developer(+2)

I spent far longer on programming the hook mechanic than anything else :) The max distance you can hook is based on the health !
