This is a really nice and complete. Well done! If I had to offer a couple of wishlist items: 1) it would be cool to have arrow keys work in addition to WASD for off-handed people. 2) the spikes for me kind of blended into the background, and I kept thinking they were plants. Maybe try something a little more menacing and obvious? But those are just some thoughts. Best of luck with the jam!
The art style is awesome! I kinda wish the hit boxes on the spikes were a bit smaller. The soundtrack was great too. Good job!
Very fun level design!
Although from time to time the game felt very unforgiving, for example, the shooting plants projectile doesn't dissapear, or sometimes you need to go down and the camera won't let you see that far, creating an scenario in which you'll most likely hit spikes. Aside from that, pretty fun platformer :]
Very great level design and world building. Adding sound effects and a bit of game feel would be nice though.
Also we had a similar idea just executed it very differently lol
Yeah.. I ran into some problems with FMOD. sfx are coming soon though. Really enjoyed your game!
Loved the idea! Level design is great and usually jam games don't feel as good as this one.
Thanks for the comment!! Making the player controls fun was our first priority :)
A fun platformer with some nice art!
