Nice. Only thing is I think on controller the button is wrong for opening doors. It says X but its actually Y you have to click. I am using an XBOX controller so I guess I also mean the top face button.

Yeah I really really struggled to make killing enemies necessary to avoid it becoming a walking simulator. In a full version I would of had doors that open only when enemies in the room are killed and even more environmental hazards such as things you have to break to go through or even spikes etc. I think that could of 100% stopped it from becoming a glorified walking simulator like you said but ran out of time. Hey thank you. I wish I had time to make more levels but yeah that was my goal trying to make it so you really had to find your own path when speed running. If I had more time I would of 100% improved on this and made the levels even bigger while still keeping them readable. And yeah I never explained it but there is a certain amount you have to smoke before any comes out. 100% I should of said something about that. Its the little orange bar. In all honestly I added it last minute in a act of balancing and tbh I think it works in balancing but also unintentionally frustrates the player. Went back to this game after playing it 2 days ago or yesterday. I really like the concept I just wish there was some sort of visual indicator when you are overheated. Maybe smoke comes off. I cant tell if the jump I am doing is powered or not. Could be cool if there were more smoke and etc the more powerful your jump is. Maybe even some screenshake. Game is really fun just need some game feel.
Hey thank you. This was really amazing feedback. Tbh I wrote and recorded soo much dialogue and then realized after how hard it was to hear some of it. After the jam im def gonna do a lot of touching up. I also wish I made the overheat last a bit less as you are right it is super punishing. But thank you so much for your feedback and playing !! Def taking all of this into consideration when the jam is over.
This game has a interesting idea and cute visual and sound design. It just really needs polishing. The tutorial broke very fast for me and I also noticed how you asked the player to please play the tutorial. Maybe instantly load the player into it and just have a skip button for repeating players. Cool though and cute idea.
