How does your game fit the theme "Unconventional Means"?
Tetris but the goal is to build a wall to defend your house, check comments if you can't launch the game.

Love the idea! Not quite as fun when I'm playing myself but I can imagine it being fun and chaotic playing against someone else. Maybe having grid-based placement would have been a better option if you're trying to build a wall of tetris pieces without it come falling down. Really liked the graphics, not a lot of people go for a 2.5D style so it was great. Would like to see a singleplayer mode after the jam!

I don't have friend to play this game with. 5/5 just because its soo genious, and original. Nice audio, Nice graphics..

Glaring flaws: no online multiplayer. No webGL build. No instructions/ how to play anywhere (checked both itch pages as well as in game, just having the on screen controls can still be confusing to new players). I played vs myself, so I wasnt able to get the full experiance.

Thanks you for playing our game !

We wanted to add a singleplayer mode but we ran out of time, same goes for the rules.

No webGL build -> Thanks for the tips, it look like you can export game to HTML 5   in UE4, we might try this in our next game.

WHY HAVENT MORE PEOPLE PLAYED THIS! Its a bit unbalanced but holy heck its so freaking fun! YOU NEED TO ADD SCREENSHOTS ON THE ITCH PAGE! DSNGSDKGNDSJKGNEKJGNKNKEGKENE VKLE LNFSL. This could unironically become a real game. Perhaps the Tetris pieces are confined to a space in front of the player’s base and the minions and towers need to be placed in a zone in the middle of the field? I dont think ima be able to articulate this without drawing it. Anyways yeah this game is PHAT

Thanks for you feedback !

Yeah we really should have added more screenshots :S

You can edit the itch.io page right now if you wanted to. I don’t believe it is against the rules of the jam.

Developer(+1)

Oh you think so ?

After triple checking the consensus is that you can. I’ve made minor changes to mine during the voting period. It shouldnt be a problem. You just CANT add things to your actual game unless its to fix game breaking bugs.

Done !

MUCH improved, hopefully this game gets a bit more traction before the voting period is over!

Really cool idea! I would recommend making blocks connect in a grid style though, because right now it seems like mashing is the best tactic. Excited to see where you take this game! :)

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for you feedback,

Yes we figured out half-way through the jam that the best technic was simply mashing, sadly we didn't find any easy way to make the game more strategically interesting. Making structure building easier / connecting block to a grid might be a solution.
