I was a little confused at first, but then I started trying out the controls and figured I had to roll towards the spots on the wall.
The boss fight was really fun and the visual effects were really nice as well and fit with the overall art style :)
The controls were very responsive, it was a good experience!
I honestly want this game to win...
A few things to say:
1- I love every soundtrack of this game
2- I felt so sorry hitting the second boss... so cute
3- The fighting mechanic is really well thought (I think using the blade as a shield is underrated)
Overall the best entry I've played so far. Really good job!!
PS: I need the final boss theme in my life...like, right now
I really like how everything works in this game, you did a great job with the magnet movement mechanics, it feels really smooth and it gives the game a professional feeling.
I didn't understand very well how to attract with the magnet, or how to change the polarity, maybe I wasn't paying enough attention to the tutorials :c
The art style is simple, yet very well accomplished!
Really nice gameplay! The graphics kind of remind me of Pokemon :)
It was a little confusing at first (at least for me) because I thought the magnet buttons were meant to be clicked instead of interacted with "E". Other than that it is a matter of getting used to it :), It gets really fun once you learn how to play.
I have to mention though, in the shop, you can buy the upgrades even when you don't have enough money (at least it appears to)
PS: I really liked that nice effect you added to the scrap pieces on top of the player when you're gathering
Pretty fun to play. A really good job for a 3 days game jam, and made by one person! I noticed a few things you coould check out though: on my first try there was a time where the ball went out of the stage, I reloaded the page and then got to the last level, and there was Bill wishing me good luck, but there was no way of completing the level. I'm not sure if this was intended or some kind of error. However, I should point out that you managed to develop a lot of physics based mechanics that work very well with the whole golfing gameplay. Awesome job! Really :)
Well I had been meaning to try something like a Tower Defense for a while now, and I thought it would fit well with top down shooting :)
And implementing the theme wasn't so hard for me either...I thought it would be a good idea to have the gameplay be in 3D but the enemies in 2D, Dimensional Duality
What do you think? 😎✨
Thank you!!
I saw you in the comments section of last night's stream 👀.
I'm dying to try your game! (The screenshots are just amazing) but my internet just sucks (42 Kb/s right now, the download keeps dying) and I don't have electricity almost all the time, but hey! I think I'll get outta here soon 🤣
Thank you for your support!! And I wish you guys the best :)
Last night I couldn't watch you live because of my slow internet, but today I saw it and I gotta say you made me really happy 🥲.
It was fr a special moment for me because I never saw anyone playing one of my games before. I loved your reaction in the end with the dancing and all 🤣🤣 I laughed so hard with you haha
Thanks for giving my game a chance and I hope to see you again in future game jams (if things get better where I live and I get the chance to work properly)
Thanks a lot for the feedback :)
I will definitely take a look at the game you recommended, and yes there's a lot of room for improvement for the combat and platforming mechanics, maybe someday I'll keep working on this project and make a full game out of it 👀
Again, thanks a lot for your support and also: Best of luck for you!
