Really interesting idea, but unfortunately I don't think it succeeds when put into practice. Having the player both jump and move to avoid guitars on one side of the screen whilst also looking at and pressing keys to match arrows on another side of the screen is an overload of information that could be made better. I think there are better ways of merging the platformer and rhythm genres together (like Crypt of the Necrodancer). I also don't see the theme present in this one. But nevertheless I did have fun playing this.

this is a fun game, it's nice and simple with good graphics, I enjoyed the song, it was well made but I think it could've had some variation to help the game be a bit less repetitive, regardless I liked the idea of having to focus on both tasks at the same time and I guess difficulty must have been a concern and a reason to keep the pattern simple

thank you for the feedback! And while I wish it was difficulty making it repetitive, it was actually time constraint. I didnt have enough time to make a more complex song or a nice end screen😅

A very nice little game. The music was a little repetitive, but still pretty good, and the concept of the multitasking was very nice. My primary concern is that I don't immediately see how it fits the theme. Also the double jump doesn't always work. Overall, I'd love to see a few more tracks put in, and maybe a few more obstacles, then it could be a fully fledged game! Nice work.

Can anyone play the game? Or did I upload it improperly? It's my first time making a game alone and I didn't actually know how to upload it from unity.

(I'm also running into an issue where when I try to build a WebGL in unity it acts as if it builds but the output folder stays empty. Found out this has been an issue for others before but not sure how to fix it yet)

For anyone who sees this message and also built in unity, what version did you use? Based on old issues, the only commonality I could find was version, but all posted issues are from 2016 or 2017

It doesn't seem like it, no. I tried downloading all 3 files and putting them in 1 folder, and that didn't work. Usually it all comes together in a .zip file.

Thank you for letting me know, I will see what I can do to fix this

Developer

I've changed the file,  if you'd be willing to try now that would be fantastic and greatly appreciated

Fantastic, I'll take a look!

No web version. :( No linux version. No fun.

I'm sorry :{

You should actually be able to play it. I just originally uploaded the wrong files. I may still be mistaken but I believe you can try it out if you'd like.
