The models are beautiful, they remind me of Disco Elysium, while the backgrounds remind me of the scene with Gwen and her dad in Spiderverse.  Like beautiful melting paintings.  The writing really hit home with the quiet protagonist.  Keeping quiet is always easier.  The visual novel part seemed a little confusing,  I assume some of them were meant to only be read after interacting with certain objects not as back to back messages.  Regardless, it was all beautiful and I'd love to see the later half of the game with the 3d models.  Keep up the good work <3

Thanks! Disco and Spiderverse were definitely brought up as inspirations yeah. The visual novel thing was a band-aid solution given we ran out of time, the writing was done but programming and art were not. Throwing all the remaining story files back to back was the only way to guarantee that game would be 'finished' in time lol. Make the game playable earlier, lesson learned.

Haha, yeah i get it.  I had to do the same thing with my game too.  It is hard to get it all exactly where you wanted.  Either way it is still amazing <3

whoaaa, very cool! i loved the art style -- the abstract painting background were GORGEOUS!!! some of the platforming in the mindscape was kind of tricky (def skill issue on my part lol). esp those two platforms on the right side of the map near the star, those ones were hard to time heh!) nice work!
