yoo, thanks for playing!! we're really glad you enjoy and relate to the story. i hope you enjoy the rest of your playthrough, we appreciate you taking the time to play our little game! <3

Heyyy, that's awesome to hear!! Just wishlisted it now, good luck on the release!

Eep, thank you so much!!! We're really glad you loved all the art & it was a fun exploration. Thanks for playing!

Velvetlobster I remember playing M4 heyyy nice to see you around again!! Super glad you liked the art and picked up on some of our influences! We appreciate you taking the time to try the game hehe

Wow Simone, thank you for all your kind comments & for taking the time to play CLOSE KNIT! I'm glad you enjoyed it, even if platformers aren't your thing! I totally agree about how crafting is so powerful; I was our knitting advisor (I also crochet and embroider too!) and it was really important for us to highlight not just Fern's story, but also Fern's story in context of the powers of hand crafts and its generational influence on families. Thank you for your really thoughtful comment, we're really glad it resonated with you!

yayyyy thank you for playing KC!!

yooooo nice work!!! that room is just a cave with a tram station (in the ending dialogue the other characters reference coming up by tram, that's where the station is). unfortunately there's nothing interesting there in this build except the background art, but we were hoping to use it in a deeper capacity originally! here's a screenshot so you don't get fomo haha. thanks again for playing!

Yes, we're working on a save system! It is definitely frustrating if you get soft locked or if you want to play in multiple sessions, we agree. And for the dialogues -- if you hold LMB, they'll scroll at least a little faster haha! Thanks for playing <3

whoaaa, very cool! i loved the art style -- the abstract painting background were GORGEOUS!!! some of the platforming in the mindscape was kind of tricky (def skill issue on my part lol). esp those two platforms on the right side of the map near the star, those ones were hard to time heh!) nice work!

Whoaaa, this was cool! At first I explored the area so the manager was one of the last people I talked to haha. But I thought it was super cool how by talking to the characters, you could see their non-scary version. It was a nice allegory! (And also your characters were super interesting and fleshed out! Jackie was super cool hehe)

Hey! Thanks for playing -- we're really glad you liked it! Don't feel bad about skipping the rating, we really just wanted to share our game with people and have fun playing what other people made, so totally justified.

Waahhh that's so nice of you to say wow!!! Thank you! Very high praise -- we're really glad you liked it!

Simple, but satisfying! I think the leaderboard might be broken because I got a score that definitely should have landed (& i put my player name in beforehand), but nothing happened.  Still, great game! Tricky when the water moved really fast.

Wahhh so cute!!! I would love this as a bigger game  one day -- introduce some automation in buying like filters or something that auto-clean the bathtubs for some time etc, and work to expand your bathouse with new rooms and better and decor and stuff would be soooo fun. Really nice work!

teee hee thank you GlimMusic!!! we really hope your daughter likes it this weekend! thank you again for playing on stream for us! it was such a cool experience. we're definitely planning to add more ;)

heyyyy thank you for stopping by!!! we've heard really good things about your game (from glim music, who really liked it!) and are super excited to try!

thank you so much!!!! we're really glad you liked the art, we worked very hard on it!

heyyy thanks so much! yeahhh we really wish we could fix that bug. it only came to be because we tried to make the player slide off the screen once you reached the door, but our coroutine is buggy *sobs*. there's a quick fix to get through: once you reach the door tile, move left, move right, and then undo three times and you should slide through. (we also put out a new version recently https://luxille.itch.io/be4-ver-2 if you'd rather play that tho!) thanks for stopping by!

there is a little trick to getting through that bug if you run into it, although it's messy: once you reach the door tile, move left, move right, and then undo three times and you should slide through. weirdly, it only happens for some people, but we put a new version out recently (https://luxille.itch.io/be4-ver-2) if you'd rather play that! thanks for stopping by!

i also cannot believe we did it in one week....p sure i spent more time on the art than my full time job T_T we're really glad you like all of our little touches! thanks so much for playing, we will definitely check Hive Dive out -- thank you for telling us about it!

Heyyy thank you so much!!! We appreciate it nonetheless <3

i did the junks almost killed me T_T i reused some of them here and there but still...little death. thank u o creators of double meaty for stopping by!!! <333

!!! thank you so much! we're really glad you liked it!

Eep, thanks!!! We really appreciate that you kept going!! We have our patch on standby but unfortunately things are locked for another week, alas...

ofc!!! always happy to support another beaver game -- shame there aren't more of them!

Update: I got to 41 this time!

Holy moly! I didn't make it to the end yet, I will certainly try based on how hyped up the ending is, but wow this was incredible! The graphics were gorgeous and the physics was amazinggggg. The fact that the totems had physics was both awesome and the bane of my existence. Will try and push through to see the ending, but really, such an incredible job! I'm really glad I played!

Eep, thank you so much! That's a new one for me -- I think getting stuck might just be a symptom of playing too fast, which is a bug we're working on fixing. For now, restarting a level (with R) should always clear any issues, but we definitely hope to get some bug fixes after the jam period ends! Thank you for playing!

Thanks so much for playing! Yeah, we'd really love to get to patch some of the movement bugs. Which specifically did you run into?

Heyyyy thank you!! Haha yes we really wanted to make a swampish sludge level, but didn't have enough time. This was only my second time making pixel art so I'm glad it came across well!

Eep! Thank you so much PixelRobert! I'm glad you liked the art :3

I'm glad our dev was able to walk you through some of our hacks around the bug -- hope you liked playing!

Ooh, yeah we got that feedback from some of our playtesters -- we tried to do tiny little dots in the corner to emphasize a grid, but it was a tricky balance between showing a grid and keeping the aesthetic up. Thanks so much for playing!

Eep! Thank you so much! I'm glad the apocalyptic vibe came through -- for a while the art was feeling very fantasy and I wasn't sure we'd get the point across. Really glad you liked it!

Heyyyy thank you so much! Yeah, the puzzles do get trickier as you go on...some of our playtesters got kind of pressed, so no shame! Thanks for playing!

Nice job! I liked the jump mechanic -- it felt very snappy. Even though there were only really two movement elements, I liked how you both had to platform and puzzle your way through the levels.

Nice job on the animations for the transitions! It took a lot of tries but I think I held my own!

Also, my friend who's not part of the jam said "this music slaps"

Exciting! I thought it was tricky orienting your ship, but I liked the stress of chasing and running away from ships. I wish the graphics were a little more polished, but neat work!

I got to 35...I loved the little shark whistle animation he's so cute omg!!! The dead fish were super sad but it was really fun. Adorable little shark!
