Wow, this style is really stunning! It's an art style that goes really well with the music too. It has a vibe that's kind of Spiritfarer-esque, and a bit of Night in the Woods feel to it as well—pretty cool. I feel the subtle lighting effect are quite fascinating too; they add a nice layer of depth.
It's quite fascinating how you control such a tiny character within huge places. The only thing that I think would make it more immersive ... currently the character seems to slip quite a bit in the environment... I can imagine it being cool to more tangibly feel each step, the character's movement.
Thank you for the comment!! We were definitely inspired by the games you mentioned so it's really lovely to hear that you felt the vibe :D thank you for the feedback as well -- we plan to continue refining the player movement!
OH MY GOSH! The art style is sooooo cute. I love the look of the characters. The scale of everything inside is also super unique and gives the game a very whimsical feel. I'm just a lil guy!
Thank you so much :D haha we actually didn't mean to make the scale of all the objects so huge but it turned out quite cute so we kept it, so glad you liked it!!
Even though I’m not the best at platformers, I wanted to give this one a try because it seems so well-crafted. I’m so glad I did!
The level of detail in the environments and the refined writing completely transported me into this world. As someone who’s also passionate about embroidery and crochet, I’m convinced that stitching has a magical quality – the power to heal and mend relationships. It’s clear that a lot of love was put into this project, and it truly shines through.
Thank you for creating something so meaningful.

Wow Simone, thank you for all your kind comments & for taking the time to play CLOSE KNIT! I'm glad you enjoyed it, even if platformers aren't your thing! I totally agree about how crafting is so powerful; I was our knitting advisor (I also crochet and embroider too!) and it was really important for us to highlight not just Fern's story, but also Fern's story in context of the powers of hand crafts and its generational influence on families. Thank you for your really thoughtful comment, we're really glad it resonated with you!
I really quite enjoyed the game; fortunately I was told of soft lock spots so was able to avoid having to restart, but otherwise, the game is quite cute from its art to the story; The gameplay was quite good as well.
yayyyy thank you for playing KC!!
Really cute artstyle! The music also fits really well I especially loved the library! I unfortunately kind of got stuck between 2 walls but would have loved to see more of the story! ♥
thank you so much -- so happy you liked the art! as for the 2 walls bug, it's fixed now and we'll update after jam submissions are unlocked for editing, so please stay tuned <3
