Really cool game. The limited jump concept is creative a leads to a lot of neat puzzles. The puzzles are well designed and I enjoyed how new elements were added over time like the blocks that toggle when you jump. It's great how the health upgrades serve as both as an upgrade and a way to progress further. There are some wonky elements (overly precise dashes, a lack of checkpoints in some areas) but overall a really good job!

This is a great game overal, good concept, a good level design that knows how to play with the main concept(jumping kill's you), and an very original implementation of what a metroidvania can be.

What I think could be better:

  • Some kind of feedback when lossing hearth, I died a lot of times because I forgot about my hearth.
  • Animations, Sounds and Presentation in general, But this is very dificult to have in time for a Jam.
  • When I land on the diferent colors and effect is applied to the player(lossing or gainning hearth), but this doesn't happen when walking over, this limitation makes the games harder, but is agains what normally happen in most games(effects on collition) so is not very intuitive.I didn't get how that works until late in the game, so maybe a mini tutorial explaining that could help

The first half of this game I had a lot of fun puzzling the obstacle courses out, but in the second half the combination of a lack of checkpoints between difficult puzzles and the necessary high precision platforming made it more of a frustrating chore to get through than fun. It was still satisfying to get to the end, though

a nice puzzler, maybe some more anymations would make it feel abit livlier, also some nice music would help it.  Anyway, funny idea and decently coded.

good work, amazing idea. Complicated to make a complex full world system which works I think

The idea is well executed, great prototype, although I think it might not work too well in a larger game. I got stuck at some point, same as one of the comments on the game’s page. It lacks sound too, but other than that, great entry, gg !
