This is pretty nifty so far! I would probably try to refine the elevator/character movement a bit and add some sounds/more music if you keep working on this one. Presentation is alright and the design isn't bad overall, however. Kudos for a proper tutorial section.

Overall the game is good. The conversation was a bit long but level layout and character design are great. Move and attack were a little bit janky.

Fantastic work! 13, eh? Lucky number! Controls are responsive and pretty tight, it's def nonlinear, music - while repetitive - is dramatic and engaging. Character designs are great, and I really like the hand-drawn stuff!
