fun game, had some great music and the overall design was nice! I couldn't find the double jump ability (after fighting the boss) so I stopped after I clipped into the ground after dashing. Nice job!
Nice, the art, gameplay and music are all satisfying.
Suggestions:
- Some of the balance is off sound design-wise. For example the money "chink" sound can be quieter compared to other sounds. Right now it feels like all of the sounds are at the same volume level and adjusting them would help clarify their importance
- I can't tell if there's a 1-2 sec period of invincibility, sometimes I got easily killed by jumping down and falling on one enemy getting hit multiple times

Good visuals. Nice colors and very nice parallax scrolling of backgrounds. The controls are pretty smooth, and the attack feels appropriately hefty. I also like the density of platforming decisions on every screen... it's an engaging little world.
However, it feels a little too hard, a little too soon.
It would be helpful to have some more feedback when the player gets hit, for example some knockback.
Lastly, it would be nice to have a delay of 1-2 seconds after death and before respawning.

Great game I especially liked the visuals and the soundtrack.
I was a little annoyed with the skull boss, it felt like the character's range was a little too short. But I had fun, fighting the small enemies, I liked the life indicators and the knockback felt good. :)

love this music! I think the game would benefit, if you zoom view a bit :D I like fighting here and sound of dying is cool (yeah, I heard it a lot of times :D)
