It was a little laggy for windows? Is there another build? If there is a MAC build I can try using my much more powerful MAC
Apologies, as the voting is still ongoing I can't upload any more files, so I can't stick a Mac build up for you - I would if i could
As for the performance, it is definitely a little choppy in the outdoor areas, but it smooths out later in the game when you get inside.
Had fun wandering around. the Aesthetic is great. music is either really low or non existent in the starting area, not sure if this was intentional, but got really excited once i heard something after making it through a few diggable walls.
Item use took me a bit to figure out. Spear enemeies are quite hard as i cant seem to find a way to not get hit while attack the, could entirely be user error tho.
played this tired out of my mind last night so gunna give it another go today and let you know about other things i find!
Thanks for trying it out!
As the person who did most of the art, it's good to hear people like the game's aesthetics lol.
As for the spear guys, getting close and circling around them is a good way dodge their stabs
ah some DS1 strats okay. i'll give it another go here in a bit see how far I can get. Yea, and I hate to use the wrong term, but like pixelated 3D gives me a sense of like old games from CD's in the early 00's Really Enjoy that style, it does get a little dark and creepy with the lighting in areas and I find that really cool.
Thanks! I actually spent quite a bit of time coding an effect that emulates the more restricted colour palettes those old 3D games used to have to use!
How do you use the keys? I would love to revisit this game but I can't unlock any doors with the key.
If you have the correct key for a for it will open. If a door is locked and you can't open it you might find the right key somewhere else
In the first room, I can only see one lock and one key. I can pick up the key but how do I put the key in the lock?
Oh sorry, we forgot to post controls before. F is interact it will open the door when you have the key
