Comments on the jam
First jam collaborating with each other and using a new engine! Making a Metroidvania in such little time is no menial task but we are happy with the result even if the initial vision for the game had to be trimmed down quite a bit! We would also like to thank the organizers for the initiative and we hope to join more times with our new found knowledge!

A Mario reference? I don't see what you're talking about xD Cool game, the audio feels nice and the gameplay is enjoyable (would have liked controller support). A map would have been great also.  There is really short range for the swords though. Switching rooms is also a bit harsh, once I entered a room and landed on spikes. I liked the medieval theme of the game. Great job!

Hey!

The mini map was part of our initial vision but we got short on time so we had to prioritize features. The rest of your suggestions are duly noted! 😉

Thx for your time and feedback.

Hello! This game had a nice classic look about it.

Things I liked:
- the jump was really well done. It had a nice acceleration and deceleration. It was responsive to the jump key being pressed down.
- I liked the feel and theme.  Very classic and familiar.
- Some of the environmental adds were very nice. The room with lots of doggies was great.

Improvement potential:
- her attack animation could have been nicer. And it needed a fair bit more feedback as well as range seeing how the enemies hit hard
- the room change really needed work as the camera got really janky and it feels like you suddenly tug into one room and back into another.

Great work and good luck

Thx for your feedback! We will take it in consideration in future iterations over the game!
