Great game! Good controls, and even after the end I'm wondering where the other 50% of the collectibles are @.@
Haha, thanks a lot! And congrats on your result for Droidvania, well deserved!
Wonderful music and some very well implemented controls. Came out the other end wanting more, so that's a thumbs up from me. Even on my first playthrough I could really get a flow going; excellent work there.
Minor quibbles:
- The dangerous 'water' could be a little more visually distinct. As it is right now (a black transparent layer over the 'walkable' grass texture) it makes the pits look like slightly dark areas you should be able to reach until you stop and closely examine them. Even swapping the grass texture for the rock texture in the pits would have gone a long way to clear up that confusion.
- The sudden halt to the jump when released early feels a little jarring
- While I could stand and adapt to the wide FOV it could still get a little nauseating at times, mostly when standing still and rotating the camera; it can feel almost fish-eye at times. I can see people having issues with it.
Great feedback, thanks!
I really enjoyed this. I loved the music and the controls were really good. Very short, but sweet. Well done.
Thanks a lot! Hopefully I'll be able to make more of it sometime.
Nice game, I felt old by struggling that much on the first big gap (right after the checkpoint) xD
:D Thanks for playing!
has a little metroivania, but in brutal control and setting, good job
Exceptional work. One part needs a little more signposting, but a great blend of parkour simulator and metroidvania
