I like the art, but I am thouroughly confused. I went into a door and saw a monster, but he just disappeared. I had no way to get out. Am I missing something?

I played originally and nothing even loaded. Today there’s a game, and I’m unsure of what I should be doing. Critically, I think this game LOOKS wonderful. I even love the concept of getting to the toilet. I have zero idea of what to do though.
