I really like the genre you went for! I felt really powerful after leveling up.
The shooting and moving controls felt a bit weird. I often felt punished for trying to kill the flies. The second spell was also hardly useful, as it blocked my pathing and my attacks. Perhaps if the walls were summoned behind the player it could serve to protect from flies?

Thank you for your honest feedback. I felt that was very fair I will be honest thought of the sand wall at the beginning but had a hard time implementing it in a really useful way and could feel time was running out. I played some of games of a similar nature in this Jam and the movement felt better (eg having the player and the pointing of the shooting being separated inputs)
