A cool game, an interesting idea of a player, and the mechanics are cool… But maybe I didn’t understand, but where is the retro?

It was quite buggy for me, at one time it didn't even let me restart, the controls were a bit random. Other than that, the theme was pretty funny.
Couple of things:
End score you finished with and your score keep flicking between - not sure if intended or accidental. (see the vimeo someone posted below)
Typo on home screen (instructions is missing and N).
Other than that - i could probably play that game for hours on end and be entertained - no issues with the gameplay itself.
Loved the transitioning ?randomly? between scenes/levels during gameplay - the trucks got me almost every time though! xD
