The controls are excelent and the use of the lights are just awsome!
I really like the atmosphere of this game but sadly my pc is too weak for 3d game so I'm not able to finish this game.
Rip, thanks for still trying it. Was there a certain part you got too or was it the game as a whole? (i'm sure I have a lot to learn about optimizing unreal engine :D )
Whole game but mostly the beginning.
Takes a simple mechanics and shines through clever level design. Really well tuned-- a lot of the jumps you can only just barely make, very satisfying.
Visuals and dynamic lighting were awesome as well.
Falling in the game made my stomach drop a bit, so well done!
My only thought was that using Left and Right to turn felt unintuitive (I'm used to those being used for strafing in FPSs). Perhaps this was done intentionally for people trying the game without a mouse, though.
Thanks for trying the game out!
The left right turning is actually only if you use arrow keys as I forgot to change that before I made the final build.
If you use WASD it should be as normal strafing wise. ( i was going to add full controller support but ran out of time and Left/Right arrow are essentially using that control scheme)
Maybe the arrow keys was more immersive though? Lol
I gave this game a try, and I actually had a very fun time! I was blown away by the 3D assets used, they looked like there was some care put into the construction of the environment. I think the furthest path with the falling circles was the hardest, just because after dying once they didn't seem to respawn back, but you could counter it by restarting, doing the path once, dying, and then clearing the rest normally. The part when you enter the tower and have to trigger the cut scene, that kinda feels like you have one shot or otherwise you mess up. Overall, I enjoyed it.
