Use of the limitation
My idea was to make each "playthrough" very short, breaking up a normal adventure game puzzle into micro loops about acquiring information within the context of a time loop.

I really liked this game's take on the limitation - it was great to see each playthrough be different because of what I'd learned rather than random chance, so that was great to see! The game itself was well made as well, and I'm always a fan of these sorts of puzzle games too, so I certainly had fun! The timer was a nice concept, and it worked very well with the story too, which was awesome; not only did it have a story, but it was used with the gameplay, which you don't see much in game jams, so well done on doing that! This was a fun, unique game, so good work!
The art is really original and I like when the developer offers a story. I just missed sound or at least some background music.
i'm glad you enjoyed it! really wanted to add background music, i'm just not very experienced with audio and the usual running out the jam clock problems haha
Love the storyboard look :D
Thank you! was goin for a rough sketch like look to match the hazy, undefined feelin of a dream ^^
Well crafted time loop! And I really like the art style!
thank you!! I'm really glad the timeloop execution worked in the end, I think i only got the game "playable" during the morning of the last day haha
I loved this! The 1 minute time loop concept was a brilliant touch. It gives you just enough time to learn what to do next, and then the mad dash to complete the game when you put together all the pieces... Great job!

aaaa thank you!! was a little unsure if the timeloop thing would count for the jam theme but i'm really glad the information > execution loop worked, thank you so much for playing!! <3
I really enjoyed this! I think the limitation worked quite well, considering every loop you use info from the last to take a slightly different path, and that gameplay is very interesting and fun. The hints and layout of the whole area is great as well, the game design work here is amazing.
Very cute art as well. I would have liked a walk animation and a few more assets (especially in the buildings and home screen) but this is a jam game, so its definitely understandable that that is lacking (and keep in mind, I want more animations because the existing stuff is so darn good!)
Aside from that collisions are a little wonky and made it a bit hard to push some objects as well as pick up the coin.
In all, great little game! I undoubtedly enjoyed my time with it, even if I made the mistake of not talking to the librarian and running around aimless for a couple loops >.<
Great work!
thank you so much!! i really wish i had the time to add in walking animations and art interiors, was really running out the clock close to the end there haahaaaa,,, music as well!! really glad the timeloop concept ended up working out though ;w;
Might do a bit of an update in the future just to fix up some of the wonky stuff if i'm feelin up to it, i'm really glad you had a good time with it!!<33
Cool game!
I really like drawing
thank you!! definitly had a lot of fun sketching for this one ^^
