Use of the limitation
Every (dream-y) date you go on in the game is with a unique, randomly generated character with a randomized base relationship stat with you. The endings also vary based both upon the ending relationship stat and, well, random chance. The end result is a game where every playthrough is at least somewhat different from the last, even though the basic structure is similar, just like real speed dating!

Hmm, at least 10? Got the Oreos out for this one!

just great, i dont have anything bad to say here
You're great for playing! :) Thank you so much!
just great, i dont have anything bad to say here
It was very funny! Especially the poems were just masterpieces :D
Hahaha, the poems were such a last minute idea and I'm really glad I put the effort in and that people enjoy them-- they were so much fun to make! Thank you so much for playing! :)
This was fun! Very interesting characters and great writing!
Thank you so much, that means a lot to me! It was so fun to make, I had a great time coming up with these guys. It was so fun as a writing exercise, too, to try and come up with as many things as I could that still flowed together well enough to make sense.
I can say this is such a nice little game, I haven't seen many other fully text-based games in the jam and this one is awesome. The interactions are very fluid and I love the randomly generated people and conversations. You've done really well here, I'd love to see this taken further. Also woop woop for inclusion!!
Thank you so much!! I was up so late every night during the jam making myself laugh (and making myself tired the next day lol) by trying to make sure all of the possible combinations of people/jokes/situations worked, so it makes me so happy to hear that paid off. I might have to work on it more after, it was so so fun to do! (And agreed, woop woop for inclusion!! :) )
epic game, very fun. enjoyed it a lot
Thank you so much! I’m so glad to hear that!
Interesting idea that i wouldn't think of my self.
The approach taken was very refreshing reminded me of pick your own adventure books in a way.
Aww, thank you! That’s exactly the kind of thing I was going for. Glad you liked it!
this is awesome.
Thank you so much! It means a lot to hear you say that! :)
Not my cup of tea, but it worked great.
I’m so glad that it still worked even if it wasn’t your thing! Not everything is for everybody, but I’m just glad it hit the intended mark haha. Thank you for commenting!
Clever use of limitation. I love you more than I like taking showers. Man, I'm really good at "creating" poems :D It was a fun little experience. Good game!
Thank you so much!! I was so excited when the limitation was announced, I *love* making randomized/generated parts of games so it was really fun to go all out. I really appreciate your feedback, glad you had a good time!
I dated a elderly non binary mafia member, I don't regret it.
Hahaha, it sounds like an unforgettable experience. I’m glad you enjoyed!
I like how the color of the text subtly teaches you how to play. Very nice, and I like the use of the theme lol
Thank you so much! I’m so glad someone clocked my use of the theme, I wasn’t sure if it would come across as much as I wanted it to, haha. Glad you enjoyed! :)
It's simple, but feels complete. I like text-based games, but I'm more into roleplaying. There you can only choose the order of choices (and who to date, yes). As for the writing - it's funny. My date wrote a book about how awful I was lol.
I’m so glad to hear! I kept starting to make it more complex before going “you only have 72 hours”— I was editing up until the last two hours so I’m glad it felt as wrapped up as I wanted it to! Also, I’m sure your reputation will recover from that blow, I believe in you, haha!
