Took me quite a while to get the grappling mechanic, though interesting concept! I also liked the character designs.

Took some getting used to but I enjoyed it, loved the music. Scored 3578 but I ended up dying to bats :(

It was a little difficult to start to get off the ground at first, but once you get the hang of the mechanics and get your momentum going (maybe have a training mode just to get a hang of the controls before actually playing?), it became really fun to see how high you could go. Really good game!

Developer

thanks for playing! Having a training mode is a good idea, I'll implement that in a future build

Took some time to get used to, but became really satisfying when I got the hang of it. I was even able to outrun the block generation at the top of the screen. :D

Eventually the chip damage from bats took me out though.

Developer

thanks for playing! I should change the block generation logic xD

nice use of grappling hock jump/ shotgun thrust. The game looks great sounds good as well.

I found it very hard to kill the bats so ended up just trying to outrun them off the screen. Some times I could get really good air and others no air at all might be a timing issues on my part letting go of the grappling.
