Loved the general ambience of the game, gave out an eerie vibe. The combination of 2D & 3D was nice. Good job

Neat little game, I enjoyed playing it. I liked the art a lot, kinda nostalgic. One small bug - I initially missed the shard in the main hallway and entered one of the rooms, and then it disappeared after returning to the hallway, so I was unable to proceed. 

Could be, I could get only upto around 4k haha

Thank you playing the game! I had updated the WebGL build with some big fixes, but the windows build wasn't updated, so there would be some differences in the movement mechanic. Regarding the bat hitbox; you're right it needs to be fixed. Initially I had a limit on the grappling hook distance, but I've eliminated that in the WebGL build so that any platform you see on the screen would be reachable. The web build runs smoothly only on Chrome browser unfortunately, but I'll update the windows build to the new version. Thanks for the detailed feedback 

Very very addictive, had a blast playing it

Yeah, I think the ghost glitched through the wall, after jumping into the cauldron

I quite liked the intro and the premise of the game. A couple of points; 1) It would be better if we have an option to skip the initial cutscene, since we don't have to hear it every time we die and restart 2) Its not clear when the enemies die. Since they're ragdolls they fall down in the first shot, and I kept shooting coz I didn't know they were dead. 

Excellent concept, loved it. 'Ghost in the shell' would've been a banger name for the game, just saying xD

Until level 5 I was like, okay this isn't hard, boy was I wrong xD Really cool art and fun gameplay.  I wudda liked it better if we could shoot at walls while in air, maybe just once, to get extra control.

Thanks for the detailed feedback! I should increase the friction between the character and the floor, you're right. As for the walls, the original build had the ability to grapple on walls, but I removed it later as you can simply stay near the walls and keep moving up. I think I should add that info to the main menu as you mentioned.

That's awesome! You must have had excellent planning in order to have finished this in 3 days. Its my first ever game jam as well, I hope we can team up in a future game jam 

This feels like a finished steam game xD I liked every aspect of it, the level design, the artwork, the core concept, well done! 

Thank you for the detailed feedback. I initially had the shotgun have a very minimal boost if you simply aim down and keep shooting without grappling so that you don't move up a lot, but I increased the boost eventually fearing the movement would become frustrating. I think I will revert it back!

nice little game, progressively gets harder. I liked the modifier concept. You could add a bit more juice to the dash effect though

Do the candies eject at the same speed that we move? xD

Interesting concept and a spooky death animation. Dig the overall horror vibe, great game!

Loved it! Controls were on point, the levels were well designed and the art style is simplistic and soothing to look at. Could have introduced the shotgun mechanic somehow, maybe for higher jumps?

Thanks for the honest feedback! You can actually move left/right while grappling by using the shotgun, it will add force

Straight up the best game I've played so far in this jam. Loved everything, the concept, the premise, the art, the music. Would love to see this as a finished concept!

Enjoyed playing it. Its very tempting to keep spamming bullets as the shooting feedback is very satisfying but I run out of bullets and fall every time xD Also loved the little falling down animation at the beginning

The shotgun in this game is simply awesome, packs a punch. The enemy could maybe respond more to getting hit.

Nicely crafted levels and responsive controls with an unforgiving shotgun, loved it!

Short and sweet game with awesome art and music :) Bonus points for the cinematic at the beginning
