I'm still not sure if I was collecting tongues or not. I also wasn't sure what I was supposed to do with the currency. If it was for an unimplemented feature, there's no problem with hinting at as much in the future - no shame in that and helps communicate of cool stuff to come!

Crank that movespeed up and you've got a very solid time running around popping ghosts, good stuff.

Thanks for the review! I have appreciated the feedback gotten so far from this jam on future game development priority. The currency is used to upgrade the gun in the graveyard behind breakable statues, but no where in the game does it tell you that, or how to do it. I was unfortunately unable to add something to fix this before the jam ended but I am currently overhauling the game for the next update, which has started with making the souls system more clear. Also, thanks for the comment on movement speed.

Pretty good looking game with nice music to go with it. Shotgun feels good, movement is a bit slow, I don't understand the point of the purple ghost drops? is it essentially score? :D Why does the counter show the picked up amount twice e.g. 1/1 .. 2/2.. 3/3... ?

Overall I liked it, chill concept, I could see a whole game built in this aesthetic ^^ good job

Thanks for the comment! The purple drops are souls that you can use to upgrade the gun by going in the graveyard area behind the destructible statues. I unfortunately was unable to add a system that hints the player at that before the jam ended but I am working on a large update for the game that will include it! As for the number / number, it represents how_much_you_have / total_collected, but that is also being re-worked, so thank you for the feedback.

Pretty fun, very cool lighting and awesome music, but needs camera shake when shooting and taking damage, it's pretty repetitive and the way you downloaded was weird, because you needed to download both of those files and put them to a folder, so you should have just made one zip file that has both so it would have been easier (way I discovered that you needed put them to folder was because one other game that used godot had putten them to zip like that so I just needed to unzip it and run the exe)

Thank you for the suggestions! I have taken your advice on the main game page and updated the game to be downloaded as a zip. More updates are to come as I have very much enjoyed this project. Also thank you for the compliments of the game!
