This game reminded me a lot of Castlevania. I love that you added a story that made sense that fit well with the theme and limitation. I find the gameplay challening though. After killing the enemies at the first stage, I didn't know where to go next. Still, this is an impressive solo project. Nice job for making everything yourself!

The idea is good! It's just we don't really understand the attack mechanic and how to kill the enemies. Also after we pressed F all the enemies disappear.

Good work!

Hey hey!
Thanks for the feedback, it turned out the F key (Heal) was set to globally affect every unit with health as opposed to just the player! Never would have caught that on my own.

I liked the music  and the story was nice as well good job on that. The art was pretty good as well not sure what the enemies were suppose to be just assumed it was a block with censored written over top of them.

The only issues I ran into is you can fall off the map in some areas but going by how it shot me back to the start of the area that was on purpose? Walking up and down had a noticeable slow down other then that game seems to run really well good job.

Very good game, the design is great and it integrates well the mechanics! The graphics are nice (quite retro), I just did not understand the sprite of the enemies, it's not very important in any case!

Appreciate you added a way to skip dialog, just in case (although I read it all!).

Unfortunately, I got stuck in the first part, after killing maybe 10 or so enemies. I wasn’t sure where to go. Also, is there a reason moving up and down is a lot slower than left and right?

The blood explosion effects were cool, I’m just curious why the enemies were boxes.

There was also some glitching, which I’m guessing because this was technically a 3d environment.

Think it just needs a bit more polish to the controls. Good job though!
