Really fun and enjoyable game, only issue I had was the hit reg and wall jumping is a little buggy
Glad you like it!
Wall jumping is definitely a feature *cough* . Tbh we never planned wall jumping but it kinda happened the way the character controller was coded, which is why it feels buggy.
The game looks great and it's a joy to play. Excellent work!
Thanks!
Cute game that is surprisingly gory, it has a very interesting art style.
I had some issues with the sword attack, it is inconsistent, to me at least.
Overall, a solid project. Good Job!
Thanks for the feedback! The game became more gory during the development process then we had initially planned. It would make more sense with a little bit of backstory, but we didn't have time for that. There are some issues with the sword and the colliders of the enemies after their death, which we need to look into again.
Glad you liked it! We invested a lot of time and we're really happy with the result considering it was actually our first game jam.
Love the art and the death animation. Once I understood the concept I thought it was really cool. At first I didn't understand that I couldn't start a lvl with negative points. Makes sense to me now, but at first I thought it was bugged or something.
Good job!
Thanks, we're really glad you enjoyed the game! It was actually our first time trying pixel art and it went surprisingly well. I know it is a bit hard to get the concept as of now, but we intend to fix that. We had a tutorial level planned and an introduction to the story, but we just couldn't make it in time. We still have a lot planned for this game, so look out for future updates!
