the numbers should not be mirrored right? A1 is A1 regardless of what side of the board you are sitting on.

Incredible graphics and music, great job

thanks! this was the first time i did all the art for a jam game myself so that means a lot.

like the lighting and the death animation a lot
good job

love the style and art.

i did have one bug where a ghost hit me into another "screen" and because of that i couldn't see my character anymore. It's like the camera and character were on different levels.

Other than that loved it though

i got the second one once

try it yea

I think with the way buying stuff takes time away you could give the player a ton of time to start. It might feel best if it's almost impossible for the player to lose by just standing their and buying nothing for a few minutes. Im not sure, play around with it. It felt like it was balanced pretty well once I got going but it took multiple deaths to read fast enough to be able to get going

Am I supposed to be able to pickup the bubbles after killing the enemies? I kill them but still take damage when I hit them afterwards like ~ 50% of the time.

Love the art and music!

Really like this game and it's art. Sometimes the blue arrow blends in with the background making it really hard to find the post. Other than that I liked it and had no issues though. Good job!

Love the art and the death animation. Once I understood the concept I thought it was really cool. At first I didn't understand that I couldn't start a lvl with negative points. Makes sense to me now, but at first I thought it was bugged or something.

Good job!

The concept is good. I would maybe give the player a bit more time are first. I started and died like 4 times trying to read what all the items do before I could actually try the game.

cool concept. the first level where you have to redirect the bubble stumped me for a second. Might have been better to have an easier re-direct level first. All in all a solid entry though.

This is sick. Really cool how all the levels are possible with a single jump but much easier with the double.

Hey I ended up making this into a full game. It comes out April 1st, 2022. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1659410/Dungeon_Lad/

yeah that would be interesting to know

Sorry but there isn't :(

thanks for playing it

wow, that might be better than i've ever gotten!

thank you!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!

Heads up, I fixed the issue causing dungeons to be unclearable. Shouldn't happen anymore.

oh no! I had been fighting that the entire time i was making it. Thanks for the heads up. Also, is the resolution bad for you? Or is it just your video?  As far as some of the ui being off screen?

Thanks for playing, you got a better score than I ever have.

Yeah flak cannon was pretty garbage before. I think the new version is much better and maybe even OP.  Thanks for playing!

You will have to download a new version.  I think the desktop app for itch has a function that will let you know if a new version is available, but I'm not 100%.  I will try to get this fixed before the weekend.

This is a bug, sorry about that.  And thanks for reporting it!  I will try and get it fixed shortly.

Wow thanks so much for this.  It's super helpful to just be able to watch how people play the game.

Huh, today it works.  Firefox btw.  Not sure what that was about.  Fun game though!

The s key only goes up, can't move left or right or down.

Agreed,  the hardest part right now is just understanding the game haha

Yeah I missed the itch deadline on accident but I think they are taking care of it for me.  Thanks for the feedback!  I agree with you about the levels, some more reaction based mechanics would be great for this game.  I just started to run out of time.  Thanks for playing!  Maybe I will make a post jam version at some point.

Thanks for the heads up, I just realized I forgot that step.  An admin is getting it straightened out though, thanks!

Ha, I love this.  Would love to play a larger version.  Nicely done!

Thanks so much for playing and enjoying it!  I'll get that bug fixed ASAP.

Whatchya got?  Mac?

Two player co-op is coming soon, hopefully in the next week.  We're you playing the endless mode or the challenges?  Either way, thanks for your candid feed back.  It's surprisingly hard to get that some times.

You're game is soooo good looking.  I like the effect (shader I think is the word) and the color choices!  Keep up the great work!

Thanks! This really means a lot to me!
