Hope to see more from this entry in the future, because it has an interesting concept and theme going for it, but I can't seem to advance in the dialogue. Not sure if that's a bug or if it hasn't been developed this further.

Developer

Hello! Thank you for your feedback! I couldn't make the dialogues work on this prototype but am planning to make a new version on Unity, using Ink as my branching dialogue system! Hope you're there to see it when it's finished!

Really liked the concept and the different faction ideas. Did not know the arrow on the right did what it did until I got stuck in a loop of options.

I hope you don't abandon this or you take this idea and implement it into something larger.

Thank you very much! I really dig this idea of mixing Reigns with a deeper level of resource management in a revolutionary theme, so thanks for the encouragement. Will polish it as soon as I can!

Nice entry to the jam!

Took me a bunch of clicking around to find the black arrow at the right, I would make that a much more visible color (an obvious yellow, perhaps?). I ran out of political power and the game seems to end there, I'm assuming this is it for now, but I'm interested to know/see what more you'll do with this concept of simulating power and how to gain and balance it. It'd be some work, but these games get more interesting the more options and outcomes there are. I bought into the press mostly, thinking that having the media in my pocket could be incredibly useful (and perhaps affect influence over others, such as the people or intellectuals?); the same could be said about the army's brute power.

Developer

I'm very glad you got into the aesthetic of the game. I definitely need to polish it up, and make the choice system actually work. Will make sure buying off factions is more evident, thanks for the feedback!

Interesting concept. After clicking the top option in the first question the options didn't change and I wasn't able to progress.

Thank you very much! Indeed, on the current version choices aren't working properly but I ran out of jam time, will keep working in it afterwards!
