I completely missed this comment until now but yes I had forgotten to update some labels at one point. Thanks for playing!

Thank you!

I'm using Chrome. I did try to make sure the canvas had focus.

I do believe this is probably just happening to me. I saw something similar happen with another game once and it didn't seem to be happening to anyone else.

My loss! looks like a fun entry.

It's easy to get these things all working and then break something at the last minute. I'll play again

Talk about outside of the box thinking. Well done!

Great art and music!

This is my favorite submission so far! Unique concept and great use of the limitation. The music is good for a few plays but I'm willing to bet you had it muted while you tested lol

Fun concept! After Edith I got an error message.

Interesting concept. After clicking the top option in the first question the options didn't change and I wasn't able to progress.

Nothing happens when I press A,D or R

Not infinite but enough that a nuke is the most practical way to mine it. Thanks for playing!

I liked the particle systems

Fun gameplay and great use of the limitation!

Well done! fun gameplay and very well put together. I died many times

Cute art and concept. I don't think the controls were working correctly for me.

Great job with a challenging limitation!

This project is halfway to my goal of two views! Comment reveal at two views! Come on let's do this!

Hm it sounds like you haven't seen a lot of the differences between the games as well. Which organisms have you discovered in the first one vs the second?

I bet I do a lot of things that you wouldn't see the point of. Thanks for playing anyway!

The rules said reusing code and assets was allowed. That definitely made this a smaller effort.

Cute art and I liked the music very much! It ran a little slow for me in browser but very fun all the same.

Great mood. The rain was very relaxing and the art was beautiful. The controls didn't work for me but that happens with some games so probably on my end.

I likes the music. Solid submission.

Love the art and music! Great palette and the tentacle movement was really interesting and looked perfect. My favorite submission so far.

I like the background. I must suck at this game because failure was definitely imminent every time I played.

This made me hug my dog. Love the retro vibe.

Funny and enjoyable. Good physics.

Great submission! I like the playable intro screen to get used to the controls.

Thanks for trying! does the github pages link work for you?

The controls didn't work for me. It's been happening with a few games so maybe an issue on my end. It looks great and I'm clearly missing out.

Ingeniously simple. Great work!

Great art and music! Very playable. The first time I played it I managed to jump over the brain and got stuck.

I like the art. Nice Octopus!

Good use of limitation!

Solid!

Great concept!

Very unique and it felt like the limitation was central to the design,  Excellent!
