Cool game! I love Ur. great use of the theme too. I liked the black hole space, i've never played Ur with that.

I reached this position and the game got stuck. https://imgur.com/a/N00tbob

I really liked the concept though. An interesting twist on an ancient game. Although the Royal game of Ur is luck based and that transfers to this version too. It's a bit frustrating to be forced to make a bad move.

Hey there!

Thanks for your comment about the game, we really appreciate it.

It is indeed a game based on luck, we tried to diverge that feeling a bit by implementing some rules based on the tiles, but as long as you have to roll some dice..

I'm sorry to hear you encountered a bug. Could you gently tell us what was the last move?

The last move was adding a new piece on the board. It landed on a plus tile so I get an extra turn.  But then there are no pieces that can make exactly 3 moves. The opposing piece is on a tile that makes it immune to capture.

I see, it should have skipped your turn but it didn't thanks for your reply :)

Great use of the limitation. I like the idea of trying to decipher the rules of the game and it is surprisingly simple. I've never played the original game of Ur so I had no idea what was going on but I was eventually able to figure it out after a few plays. Great job!
